Visted Heidelberg today with Earl and Caroline. Drizzly, misrable day. Cruised up and down the main square where the shops and stuff were. Big purchase for me was a learn German in 30 days book. I need to get a move on.
After we got back, Earl and I went to a PX and I bought two more learn German books. I'll put them under my pillow. My local Popeyes in the US closed, so Earl and I ate Popeyes for lunch.
Afterwards, I walked to the local shops for paper and a cigar. I spoke my first spontaneous German - zu tauer (too expensive) -
when she told me the price.
